c. To exit rotate segment mode, tap outside the mask segment. The instrument returns to normal operation.
Edit mask segments using the Mask Definition menu
The Mask Definition menu allows you to edit the mask, including moving, changing size, moving individual vertices, adding and deleting
vertices. You have the choice to edit a mask by segments or waveform tolerance with the Mask Defined By options in the Mask Settings
panel.

CAUTION: Do not toggle between the Mask Defined By options without saving your mask settings. When Waveform
Tolerances is selected, a mask generated by the Segment settings are replaced with a mask generated by the tolerance
fields.

1. To change the shape of a segment using the Mask Settings menu:
a. Double-tap on the segment to edit.
b. Select Segments under the Mask Defined By options.
c. Tap the Shape field.
d. Select the shape to which to change the segment. The segment changes shape immediately.
2. To change the height of a segment using the Mask Settings menu:
a. Double-tap on the segment to edit.
b. Select Segments under the Mask Defined By options.
c. Tap the Height field and enter the height value as units of the current vertical channel settings (volts, amps, and so on). Or
double-tap on the field and use the A knob to change the value. The shape immediately changes height while maintaining the
vertical center position of the segment.
3. To change the vertical center of a segment using the Mask Settings menu:
a. Double-tap on the segment to edit.
b. Select Segments under the Mask Defined By options.
