COMMSTYPE
Type:
Slot Parameter
Syntax:
COMMSTYPE SLOT(slot#)
Description:
This parameter returns the type of communications daughter board in a controller
slot. On the MC206, a communications daughter board will respond with its type if
the COMMSTYPE is requested from slot(0).
See Appendix 1 for complete list of values returned by communications boards.
COMPILE
Type:
System Command
Description:
Forces compilation (to intermediate code) of the currently selected program. Pro-
gram compilation is performed automatically by the system software prior to pro-
gram
RUN
or when another program is

ed. This command is not therefore
normally required.

Description:
The Control parameter returns the type of Motion Coordinator in the system:
Note:
When the Motion Coordinator is LOCKED, 1000 is added to the above num-
bers. eg a locked MC206 will return 1206.
