Ink and Top Up Reservoir Sensor
Removal

Cut the four wires (sensor and LED connections).

Unscrew the sensor from the threaded receptacle on top of the reservoir and list it out.
Installation
1
Screw the level detector into the receptacle in the tank.

Thread heatshrink over the four lead ends.

Solder the leads to the wires cut in

Remove the sensor from the tank as described above.

Unscrew the lens retainer (Figure 55 (

)) and thread it over the trailing leads of the sensor and LED.

Withdraw the spacer tube (

), sensor holder (

), lens (

) and O-ring (

) from the level detect retainer (
1
).

Remove the sensor and LED from the sensor holder (

) and discard the sensor and LED.
