Supercapacitor Detailed
The ISE-2, Hyper ISE, and ISE 7-Series contain two supercapacitor units (see Figure 1 on page 4) to maintain
cache memory in the event of a power outage.
To view detailed information about the supercapacitor units and their environment, enter the show battery
command in the CLI. The following information is displayed for each supercapacitor unit (see Figure 86 for a
sample display from one supercapacitor unit).
Note. Entering the show battery command in the CLI returns the same information as entering show
supercap.
The supercapacitor information fields are described in the following table (Table 40):

Overall state of the SuperCap unit. This field usually reports Operational. Other possible
states include Warning, Critical, or Non-Operational.
Detailed Status
Any unusual state this SuperCap unit may be in. This field usually reports None.
