5.2 Technical Service
5.2.1 Check-Up
• Be sure to adhere to the required voltage (e.g. on the transformer HBO 100 W).
• Check the power cable and the power plug for damages.
• As soon as you become aware of any damage, turn off the instrument and secure. Call in a qualified
professional to fix the problem.
• Check to make sure that the maximum operational hours of the mercury vapor short arc lamp are not
exceeded.
5.2.2 Changing the Fuses
Always pull the plug before
changing any fuses.
The fuse compartment is on the backside of the
microscope. It is combined with the plug and
contains two fuses type T 3.15 A/H /250 V.
• Pull the plug.
• Pull the fuse retainer (
726H726HFig. 5-1/2) forward with
the aid of a small screwdriver, if necessary.
• Remove the fuses from their container and
replace them with new fuses.
• Push the fuse retainer back into the
compartment (
727H727HFig. 5-1/1) to the stop.
• Put the plug back in.
