• Links close to power cables
• Areas with high potential differences
• Large installations
• Installations where a protective separation by the network is required
• Cables in narrow cable ducts
• If cable redundancy requirements have to be met
• In hazardous areas
Use fiber optic cables wherever this is possible to improve the
operational reliability and achieve optimal EMI shielding.
