2. FI 820F not installed at the end of the bus cable.
Cable the terminal block TB 870F with the other RS485 nodes on the bus as seen
in Fig. 4-60. Keep the branch cables to the nodes as short as possible.

Provide a termination at both ends of the bus cable, as described above. Use a
shielded TP cable according to the instructions given above.
• Make sure that no jumpers are set on the FI 820F module and
that the switches on the terminal block TB 870F are in the
OFF position.
• Remember the terminating resistors at both ends of the bus
cable.
