Other LEDs
Every communication channel has one or several green status indicator LEDs.
The Profibus module has a green busy indicator; it lights up green when the module
has the so-called token and, thus, is acting as the master.
The CAN-3 and Serial module channels have a transmit and a receive indicator LED,
each. The LEDs light up green when data is being received or transmitted.
EEPROM
Every module has a serial EEPROM holding the module ID and the following
manufacturer information:
• Access mode used for data exchange with the CPU
• Revision level
• Serial number
• Tester
• Test date
• Error memory
• Working time counter, for normal an excess temperature
