WARNING Hazardous voltages!
– Verify that the drive system is de-energized
– Connect grounding sets at the locations indicated in Fig. 10-20.
– Be aware of arcing between ground clamp and busbar ground studs
when connecting a grounding set to the busbars for the motor cables.
Arcing can be caused by voltages being fed into the drive when the
motor is driven by the propeller of the ship.
– Follow local safety procedures
1) Orientation of lever for removing busbar
connectors
2) Orientation of lever for fitting the busbar
connectors
3) Four-way grounding set (4x)
