2.2. Safety messages

damage to the equipment. The indicated hazard level is based on the ANSI Z535.6
standard.
Read this material carefully before working on or around the equipment.
Failure to do so can result in serious Injury or DEATH! Keep for
future reference.
This is the safety alert symbol. It is used to alert you to potential physical
injury hazards. Obey all safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid
possible injury or death.
DANGER Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will
result in death or serious injury.
WARNING Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided,
could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not avoided,
could result in minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE Is used to address practices not related to physical injury,
but which can result in equipment damage.
