AlinIQ NCi - Proxy Server Connecon
Use this secon of the screen to supply informaon for connecng to the internet using a proxy server.
Proxy server informaon is required if the instrument is to connect to the internet via a proxy server. This
may be required to download eVAS directly from Abbo Point of Care to the instrument via the internet.

Selecng this check box displays the following prompts:
Proxy Server Type:
Select either:
• HTTP HTTP proxy intercepts web access
• Socks Provides proxy service for UDP data and DNS look up operaons in addion to web
access.
Proxy Server Address:
Required. IP address of the proxy server
• Port: Port used by the proxy server. The default is 8080.
Proxy Server User Name:
Network name of the proxy server
Proxy Server Password:
Network password for the proxy server. By default, bullets (••••) are displayed as you type the
password. To display the actual password aer typing it, click this symbol:
