Assemble a Prole
An i‑STAT Alinity prole is a collecon of categories. There are ve categories (indicated with an asterisk
*) required to build a prole and ve oponal categories, all listed below.
These categories are required (indicated with an asterisk *) to build a prole:
• *General Sengs
• *Operator Sengs
• *Quality Sengs
• *Paent Sengs
• *Analyte Sengs
In addion to the required categories, there are oponal categories that can be included in a prole:
• User Dened Message
• Training Sengs
• STATNotes
• Result Notes
• Connecvity Sengs
To begin dening a prole, from the Home page: click Manage and Assemble Proles > Prole > Create.

This screen has the following opons:
Prole
Name Required. Specify a name that is from 4 to 40 characters long and:
• consists only of the following characters:
￮ 0 through 9
￮ A through Z or alphabet appropriate for language (in upper or
lower case)
￮ blank space
￮ underscore ( _ )
• does not begin with the characters APOC (in upper or lower
case)
• is a unique name within this healthcare organizaon
