AlinIQ NCi - Customizaon and Connecvity
Aer creang the NC (ancc) le, refer to the secon in this document for AlinIQ Customizaon
Workspace for iSTAT (AlinIQ CWi). Connecvity features in the CWi enable the instrument to transmit to
and receive informaon from remote systems.
AlinIQ NCi - Determining Success or Failure
Aer you have used NCi to congure connecvity, you can test the connecon. Follow the steps shown
here:
To check a wired network connecon, place the iSTAT Alinity instrument in the base staon that is
connected to the facility's network and power on the instrument. On the instrument screen, in the
upper right corner, the ethernet symbol displays indicang an acve connecon.
To check a wireless network connecon, remove the iSTAT Alinity instrument from the base staon.
On the instrument screen, in the upper right corner, the wireless internet symbol displays. This
symbol represents a strong signal. Some or all of the bars in the signal should be lled in,
depending upon the signal strength in the locaon. A locaon that displays the symbol with all bars
empty represents no signal. If the symbol displays with all bars empty, move the instrument to a
locaon closer to the wireless access point.
