Precauons and Limitaons
Baeries have been designed to provide a safe, high-capacity power source in a relavely small
lightweight package. However, if misused or abused, these baeries can be dangerous. Follow these
guidelines for the safe handling, use and disposal of the rechargeable baeries.
DO:
refer to the Geng Started Guide for proper charging instrucons.
charge a new rechargeable baery pack for 4 hours before inial use. A fully discharged baery will
be 100% charged and ready for use aer 4 hours.
use only a rechargeable baery pack purchased from Abbo Point of Care.
use only the accessories and consumables specied or supplied for this system by Abbo Point of
Care.
keep a spare, charged baery on hand at all mes.
store charged baery in the original packaging.
check with authories for local, state, and/or naonal requirements for disposal or recycling
requirements for Lithium-Ion baeries.
DO NOT:
dismantle, open or shred the baery.
expose the baery to heat or re. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
short circuit the baery. Do not store baeries in such a manner that they may short circuit each
other, or allow metal objects to touch the baery contacts.
subject the baeries to mechanical shock.
open, disassemble, modify, crush, burn, shred, or expose to high temperatures. Toxic gases and
liquids are present in baeries.
place the baery in an oxygen-enriched atmosphere.
make any unauthorized repairs or modicaons to this product as this may cause personal injury or
damage to the unit.
