Rechargeable Baery
The i‑STAT Alinity instrument is powered by a Lithium-Ion rechargeable baery pack which includes the
baery cell as well as the charging and fuel gauge electronics. The rechargeable baery pack is directly
aached to the boom of the instrument. The baery pack and Base Staon design allows the baery
to be charged without detaching it from the instrument. The fuel gauge in the baery pack accurately
measures the baery capacity while also providing protecon against short circuit, over-current and
over-voltage.
