QC Cartridge Click the arrow to display a drop down list of cartridges. From the list, select
the c
artridge for this prole. This is the parent cartridge.
Dependent Cartridges When more than one type of cartridge can test for the same analyte,
one c
artridge can be the dependent of the other. When tesng is
performed, the result for an analyte common to both cartridges then
applies to both the cartridge that was tested as well as its dependent.
For example, a CHEM8+ cartridge tests for sodium. An E3+ cartridge
also tests for sodium. If CHEM8+ is selected from the drop down list
tled "QC Cartridge", then an E3+ cartridge can be selected as its
dependent. The CHEM8+ is the parent and the E3+ is the dependent.
When QC tesng is done for the CHEM8+ cartridge and the result is a
'pass' for sodium, then the E3+ cartridge is also considered as having
passed the test for sodium.
Opon to select one or more cartridges as dependents. Choose a
dependent by selecng the check box next to the cartridge name.
Note: All analy
tes used within the facility should be included
in liquid QC and Cal Ver tesng schedules.
Note: A QC c
artridge that is selected as a parent cartridge in
one Cartridge QC Prole cannot be a dependent cartridge in
another Cartridge QC Prole within the same schedule. It can
be a dependent cartridge in a Cartridge QC Prole belonging
to a dierent schedule.
QC Fluids Select up to 6 di
erent uids in 1 QC schedule. Selecons must not
be duplicated. Aer uids have been selected, click Update QC
