How to Set Up the Timing Generator
In the lower right-hand corner of the Hardware Settings page you
find a box labeled S
EQUENCER / TIMING GENERATOR.

For a High Speed Digitizer, you can specify:
• The SEQUENCER PROGRAM to be executed.
• The SAMPLING FREQUENCY or SAMPLING PERIOD (these fields are
mutually dependent).
• The TRIGGER DELAY, which means the additional delay after the
trigger pulse (there is always a minimal delay which depends on
the chosen analog module).
• The INTER DISCARD, which actually means a reduction of the
sampling rate. If you specify, for example, a number of 1, the
digitizer would only capture every 2nd data point.
If you wish to define a new Sequencer Program, or to edit an
existing one, it is recommended to first fill in the other parameters
as you will leave the Hardware Settings page to do this.
