Reusing the QC Experiment
The QC Experiment was designed so you can reuse it for subsequent QC runs by
duplicating the tube without data. Collecting all QC data in the same experiment
makes it easy to export the statistics to a QC log.
1 Verify that the cytometer configuration is set to the appropriate
configuration for QC.
2 Open the QC experiment.
3 Right-click the most recent tube and select Duplicate without Data.
4 Rename the tube with the current date.
5 Verify that area scaling and laser delay are correct.
a Verify that the Area Scaling worksheet is displayed.
b Prepare and load a tube with QC particles.
c Verify that the FSC and blue laser area scaling factors are set correctly.
Tip You can use the same area scaling values that were determined
the last time you ran the QC particles. Highlight the last recorded data
file in your QC experiment and find the area scaling values in the Tube
tab. Type these numbers into the Cytometer window, Laser tab.
