Unexpected sort results

Sorting parent and child
populations into two
different tubes
If you try to sort a parent and its
child population into two tubes,
BD FACSDiva software ignores
the child events in both tubes.
Create a new subset under the
parent population consisting of
NOT (child). Sort the child
population into one tube and the
NOT (child) population into
another tube.

Current tube pointer is not
set to current tube
Click to move the current tube
pointer to the appropriate tube.
Laser shutter is engaged Make sure the flow cell access

Viewing plots for a different
tube
Double-click the current tube in
the Browser to display the plots
for that tube.
Incorrect population(s) in
plot
Right-click the plot and choose
Show Populations. Verify that the
appropriate populations are
displayed.
