Nozzle
The BD FACSAria cytometer is provided with two adjustable nozzles, 70 and
100 μm, that accommodate a variety of particle sizes. The nozzle is keyed to a
fixed position at the end of the cuvette. Because the nozzle is below the
interrogation point, optical alignment is not affected when the nozzle is changed.
