5.1 Overview

5.2 Description

The AV4 BSMS Chassis is the mainframe for the AVANCE NEO BSMS system. It contains a

backplane with slots for all necessary functional units and power supplies. These include:

• ELCB Lock Control Board

• L-TRX Lock Transceiver

• L-19F 19F Lock Extension

• AV4 GAB/2 Gradient Amplifier

• SCB20 Shim Current Board

• SPB Sensor and Pneumatic Board

• AV4 VPSB-DC Variable Power Supply

• Power Supply Modules AV4 PSM-48V, AV4 PSM-B, AV4 PCTRL

Units of previous BSMS generations that are not explicitly mentioned in this manual are not

compatible to the AV4 BSMS Chassis!
