Reflect Roll Unit Settings in the Printer Driver
Configure the settings of the roll unit in the printer driver so that they reflect those in the printer unit.
If you configure the settings of the roll unit in the printer driver so that they reflect those in the printer unit,
the paper-feeding methods which can be set in the printer driver will switch to the state the printer unit was
in.
Procedure for configuring the settings of the roll unit in the printer driver so that they reflect those in the
printer unit.

Open System Preferences and select Printers & Scanners

Select the name of your model from the list of printers and click Options & Supplies...

Reflect the settings of the roll unit

If you are using the lower tray (paper roll 2) as paper-feeding tray, place a checkmark next to Roll Unit
in the Options tab (or the Driver tab).
Important
• If the roll unit of the lower tray is not installed, or if the roll unit of the lower tray set in the winding device
is installed, uncheck Roll Unit.
Note
• Roll unit settings are automatically updated even when you are printing from the printer driver.
