SETUP PASSWORD
The default password is the last 3 digits of Readout serial number. The password can be
changed from the default setting to enhance security.
From Figure 6-4 Advanced Detector Setup Screen, touch the SETUP PASSWORD button.

The setup password screen requires entering current password, before the new password
can be accepted. Passwords (current, new, confirm) are always displayed as a string of *.
The new password has to match the confirm password.
Change the Password
To enter the current password, touch the Current Password field box. The Numeric Keypad
Screen is displayed. Enter the current password into the keypad. The keypad display will
show a string of *. Touch the Accept button and the Figure 6-41 Setup Password Screen will
appear with a string of * in the Current Password field box.
To enter the new password, touch the New Password field box. The Numeric Keypad Screen
is displayed. Enter the new password into the keypad. The keypad display will show a string
