zhoodSep 1, 2025
If you cannot access environment parameters in DL.CODE for your Datalogic Laboratory Equipment (Device>Settings>Settings menu item is grey), ensure you are using the Installer - Expert User level. If not, change it in the Options>Change User menu.

If Autorun or Start.hta doesn't run during DL.CODE installation for your Datalogic Laboratory Equipment, check your Windows settings to ensure Autorun is enabled. Also, associate the .hta file type with the Microsoft HTML Application host mshta.exe in Windows\System32.

Why is trigger LED not blinking in serial trigger mode on Datalogic Matrix 220?
J
James WelchAug 29, 2025
If the ”TRIGGER” LED is not blinking in One Shot or Phase Mode when using a serial trigger source on your Datalogic Barcode Reader, check the settings for Acquisition Trigger, Reading Phase-ON, and Reading Phase-OFF parameters on the Reading Phase step. Ensure the COM port parameters (Baud Rate, Parity, Data Bits, Stop Bits) are correctly assigned. Verify the settings of Acquisition Trigger String, Reading Phase-ON String, and Reading Phase- OFF String parameters on the Reading Phase step. Also, confirm the serial trigger source is correctly connected.

Why Datalogic Matrix 220 is not transmitting results after reading phase?
D
Debra SanchezAug 27, 2025
If the ”TRIGGER” LED is correctly blinking but no result is transmit ted by the Datalogic Barcode Reader at the end of the reading phase collection, check the Code Collection parameters on the Reading Phase step and the Data Formatting parameters on the Data Format ting step.

What to do if Datalogic Matrix 220 Barcode Reader power LED is not lit?
M
Michelle BarnesAug 27, 2025
If the “POWER” LED is not lit on your Datalogic Barcode Reader, check the power connection. If using a power adapter (like PG6000), ensure it's connected to the wall outlet. If using rail power, verify the rail has power. If using CBX, check its power (switch and LED). Ensure you're checking either the M12 17-pin connector or the CBX spring clamp connectors. Measure voltage at pin 1 and pin 2 (for 17-pin connector) or at spring clamp Vdc and GND (for CBX).

What to do if Datalogic Matrix 220 always transmits no read message?
J
Jessica RoachAug 26, 2025
If your Datalogic Barcode Reader consistently transmits a 'No Read Message', begin by running the Rapid Configuration procedure. Position the reader as described in "Mounting And Positioning Matrix 220". Adjust the Acquisition Delay on Trigger via DL.CODE if the moving code is out of the reader's field of view. If an external trigger isn't available, set the Continuous Operating Mode. Improve code image quality by tuning the Image Settings. Finally, verify the parameter settings in the Advanced Setup step, specifically 2D Codes, 1D Codes, and Postal Codes, and view the full resolution code image to assess printing or marking quality.

Why is Datalogic Matrix 220 Barcode Reader transmitting corrupted data?
C
cervantesshawnAug 25, 2025
If the data transferred from your Datalogic Barcode Reader to the host is incorrect, corrupted, or incomplete, ensure that the host serial port settings are the same as the reader's. Check the Header and Terminator String parameters in the DL.CODE Data Formatting step, and verify the Message Field parameter settings.
