cycle is too long or the inflation rate is
too low.
Check that the hose and cuff are
properly connected to the monitor.

Range
The values are reported, but are out of
specified range.
No action is required.
NBP
Overpressure
The cuff pressure is over 270 mmHg
(Adult), 180 (Pediatric) or 140 mmHg
(Neonatal). The cuff deflates
automatically.
• Check the patient and treat, if
necessary.
• Check the cuff for obstructions.
• Retry the measurement.
NBP Retrying The monitor failed to detect sufficient
pulsations, aborted the measurement,
then started a new one.
No action is required.

Overpressure
Circuit Failure
The cuff overpressure circuit has failed. Contact the hospital’s technical
personnel or Dräger DrägerService.
NBP Meas.
Circuit Failure
Software or hardware failure. A
persistent alarm of low priority sounds,
and NBP measurements are no longer
possible.
• Power cycle the monitor.
• Contact the hospital’s technical
personnel or DrägerService if the
error persists.
