Setup Menu and Quick Reference Table
To access the NBP setup menu
Click on the NBP parameter box on the main screen;
or
1. Press the
Menu fixed key on the monitor.
2. Click on
Patient Setup.
3. Click on
Parameters in the second column.
4. Click on
NBP. The NBP menu appears.
The following table briefly describes functions available on the NBP menu.
Function Description Settings
Interval Time Sets interval for series of single
NBP measurements
OFF, 1, 2, 2.5, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45,
60, 120, 240 min
Venous Stasis Stops blood flow to lower part of
cuffed limb for a fixed time
•OFF
•ON
Continuous
Mode
Initiates successive NBP
measurements for 5 minutes
•OFF
•ON
Inflation Limit Sets threshold for maximum cuff
inflation, initial inflation will be
less.
Neonatal patient category:
140 mmHg
Pediatric patient category:
Pediatric - 180 mmHg
Neonatal - 140 mmHg
•Adult patient category:
Adult - 270 mmHg
Pediatric - 180 mmHg
Neonatal - 140 mmHg
NOTE: The inflation limit can be set equal to
or below the maximum for the selected
patient category (see above). No other
parameter functions are affected.
