Standalone Pulse Oximeter
Overview
The MicrO2+ can be used as a second source of SpO
2
monitoring with monitors that
are compatible with Dräger Oxisure via MultiMed. It is a small, battery operated pulse
oximeter that connects to the monitor's X8 connector via an RS232 cable.
When monitoring SpO
2
via the MicrO2+ the parameter box is labeled SpO2*.
SpO
2
*alarms are set from the Alarm Limits menu (see chapter 5). SpO
2
* does not
display a waveform and is not supported for OCRG.
NOTE:
You cannot use the remote keypad and/or the Masimo SET or Nellcor Oximax
pods with the MicrO2+ simultaneously.
MicrO2+ pulse oximeter is not supported on monitors with Masimo or Nellcor
logo (see pages 17-4 and 17-5).
