3. Insert an arterial thermodilution catheter into a suitable artery (femoral,
brachial or axillary artery) of the patient. Take care that all air is evacuated
from the blood pressure lumen.
4. Connect the pressure line of the monitoring kit to the lumen of the
thermodilution catheter.
