6 Hold the rings provided at both ends of the
drum cartridge, and lift the cartridge out from
the machine.
7 Insert the used drum cartridge into the box which contained the new drum cartridge.
8 Remove the new drum cartridge from the
plastic bag.
Important • When removing the drum cartridge from
the plastic bag, be careful not to touch or
scratch the surface of the drum.
9 Open the protective cover so it unfolds
underneath the drum cartridge.
10 Lift the drum cartridge, holding the rings
provided at both ends of the cartridge.
11 Aligning it with the guides, place the drum
cartridge into the unit with the ( ) side
facing you.
CAUTION
Be sure to insert your fingers into
the rings when lifting up the drum
cartridge.
