K.3 UPGRADE FIRMWARE
This tool can be used to reprogram the firmware of an electronic board. It mainly concerns the Absolute
Arm, Extension Pack (FP / CP), or even the RSx.
The electronic boards firmware should always be up-to-date, as a new version is always compatible with
old boards.
For the RSx scanner, a valid Activation code must be entered in RDS Control Panel. Please
contact your Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence representative.
