C.1 SYSTEM STATUS
C.1.1 GLOBAL STATUS
One of the purpose of the RDS Agent is to quickly display main information about the status of the system.
When the Agent appears, the global status is shown on the lower line.
The colours use the following conventions:

Blue
Operational mode
Ready
The instrument is operational (home position)
Green
Ready to measure

The system is ready to measure
Scanning
Scanning
The system is currently digitizing with a Laser scanner
Orange
Non-critical issue
Axis over limit
The instrument is connected, but an event prevents
from measuring:
Encoder on its limit
No probe mounted
…
Red
Critical issue
Not connected
No instrument is connected, or issue of connection
