11. Remove the cable roll that is closest to the jib.
12. Connect the lifting cable to the boom.

Use a D-shackle.
13. Put the lifting cable over the roll in the
counterweight lifting bar.
a. Put the pin in the outer hole of the shaft.
b. Pull the shaft and the roll OUT.
c. Put the cable over the roll.
d. Push the shaft, the roll and the cable back IN.
e. Put the pin back in the inner hole of the shaft.
14. Turn the boom to its farthest rearward position.
15. Turn the crane so that the boom is at 90° to the
tracks.
16. Turn the jib so that it is horizontal.
