EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
Included on the last page of this module is a data sheet
to record the information observed during the hydraulic
brake system check-out procedure. The data sheet
can be removed, copied, and used during the check-
out procedure.
* Steps indicated in this manner should be recorded
on the data sheet for reference.
The following equipment will be necessary to properly
check-out the hydraulic brake circuit:
•
Hydraulic brake schematic, refer to Section “R”
this manual.
•
Calibrated pressure gauges:
> One 0-5000 psi (0-34,475 kPa) range.
> Three 0-3000 psi (0-20,685 kPa) range.
•
One PB6039 female quick disconnect and hose
long enough to reach from brake cabinet to the
inside of the operator’s cab for each gauge.
•
Accumulator charging kit (EB1759 or equiva-
lent) with gauges and dry nitrogen.
