1. Measurements listed on the curves are for a
stabilized machine at maximum output at tem-
peratures indicated for each curve.
2. A link between “E” and “R” terminal must be used
in order to provide self energizing. If residual
magnetism is lost, self energizing will not occur
until magnetism is reestablished. This is done by
disconnecting the link and applying 24V momen-
tarily to the E terminal while the alternator is
operating. After disconnecting the +24V signal
from “E” terminal, connect the link between the
“R” and “E” terminal.
