3 Calibration

▼ Zero calibration based on actual load / Entry of zero point
Normal zero calibration method is [zero calibration based on actual load]. Register the zero point with
a tare or equivalent weight placed on the measuring unit.
Zero calibration based on entry of zero point should be executed as long as all conditions listed
below are met.
The CSD-709 being used is replaced with another CSD-709.
The zero calibration data (mV/V value) of the former CSD-709 is known.
It is not possible to establish a no-load condition (initial condition including tare) for the
measuring unit.
▼ Span calibration based on weight / Entry of span
When it is possible to prepare a weight of at least two-thirds the measuring weight, execute [span
calibration based on weight]. When there is no weight, execute [entry of span].
POINT
When the span is input, the calibration accuracy is about 1/1 000. If the accuracy of higher than
1/1 000 is required, execute [span calibration based on weight].
Whichever method you select, actual load based calibration or numerical value input based
calibration, you can fine-tune the results to get more accurate values.
