▼ Setting the detecting data width and detecting magnification [PF-11], [PF-12]
When you have selected [05] (Maximum) as the desired detection operation, you should set the
detecting data width to P function PF-11. When you have selected [04] (Minimum) or [06]
(Maximum-minimum difference) as the desired detection operation, you should set the detecting
magnification to PF-12, in addition to setting the detecting data width to PF-11. Described below are
the setting procedures for the detecting data width and detecting magnification.
1. Press once to display .
2. Press twice to change the display to .
3. Press .
The P function mode is activated, and the display changes to a two-digit numerical value
prefixed with [PF-].
4. Using and , change the numerical value to and press .
The currently set detecting data width appears.
200
For setting procedures with and , see Section 1.6, "Basic key operation".
5. Using and , set the detecting data width.
You can set any value between 0 and 99 999, which will be displayed in the load window.
6. Press .
7. When you want to set the detecting magnification, use and to change the numerical
value to .
When you do not want to set the detecting magnification, press twice to return to
Measurement mode.
8. Press .
The currently set detecting magnification appears.
15 (1.5 times)
9. Using and , set the detecting magnification.
You can set any value between 0 and 49 to PF-12. The actual detecting magnification will be the
PF-12 value multiplied by 0.1.
10. Press .
11. Press twice to return to Measurement mode.
