Clean O-ring.
O-ring groove must be perfectly clean
Grease O-ring (Arrow) and insert it into the annular groove of
the spacer ring.
Place the complete retarder on the converter bell until contact
is obtained, using lifting device, and fasten it by means of hex.
head screws.
Pay attention to the radial installation position of
the retarder.
Binding are the Specifications of the Vehicle
Manufacturer, resp. the markings applied at the
disassembly !
Torque limit (M12/8.8) .......................... 79 Nm
(S) Set of eye bolts 504182
Insert O-ring (Arrow) into the annular groove of the converter
bell.
Fasten spacer ring by means of socket head screws.
Torque limit (M10/8.8, DIN 6912) .......... 46 Nm
and secured with Loctite 262.
