LUN Mapping Parameters
• Initiator – The iSCSI card in the Host system that initiates commands to the
target (VTrak)
• Initiator Name – A World Wide Name (WWN), used to identify the Initiator.
An iSCSI initiator name is the iSCSI name of the initiator device and is
composed of a single text string. iSCSI WWNs are somewhat different from
regular WWNs.
• Logical Drive ID – The disk array ID number
• RAID Level – RAID Level of the logical drive
• Capacity – Capacity of the logical drive
• Serial Number – Serial number of the logical drive
• WWN – World Wide Name, used for the Initiator name
• LUN – Logical Unit Number on this logical drive for the selected initiator.
Each logical drive has a unique LUN
