After the polygon motor turned on, or within 15 sec. after the rpm’s changed, the
motor did not rotate normally.
 The interface harness to the polygon motor driver damaged, short-circuited,
or does not connected correctly.
 Polygon motor or polygon motor driver defective
 IPU defective (XSCRDY Signal Error)
 PSU2 defective (Power for Polygon Motor error, fuse defective)
 Incorrect AC voltage (outside the standard range)
1. Cycle the main power switch off/on.
2. Reconnect the harness between laser unit and IPU.
3. Check the polygon power supply 24V of the IPU (pin No.4 on CN570
connector).

4. Check the polygon power supply 24V of the PSU2 (pin No.12 on CN414
connector).

5. Replace the laser unit.
6. Replace the IPU.
7. Replace the PSU2
8. Replace the harness between laser unit and IPU (polygon harness).

*1 Check the voltage if there is a multimeter. There is no problem if your
multimeter indicates 24±2V.
*2 Do not replace the Polygon Motor.
