[A]: Multiple horizontal glossy streaks which have been made at the leading and trailing edge margins
of a previous job image.
Cause
When a solid image is printed continuously, toner wax may adhere and solidify on the fuser belt. On the
other hand, a margin area (leading and tailing edges) is applied less toner wax. As a result of this,
different glossiness is added to the fuser belt, and then causes streaks on outputs.
Solution
“Chart B” is greater effective for the improvement and it is also the permanent measure. However,
productivity is decreased. Use either “Chart A” or “Chart B” depending on a customer’s demand.
