5.Troubleshooting for the Operation Panel

3. Select “wipe data/factory reset” with the [Stop] or [Start] key, and then press the [#] key.
4. Select Yes - delete all user data” with the [Stop] or [Start] key, and then press the [#] key.
The message "wiping data..." is displayed while wiping the data. The data and the cache area are
cleared within 1 minute.
When the factory reset is completed, the Recovery mode menu is displayed. The alert is displayed
because LegacyUI and pre-installed applications are deleted.
When you restore, do not reboot. Follow the next procedure.
Restoring after the Factory Reset
When updating the operation panel firmware and the application one by one
1. Update the operation panel firmware. (Refer to the procedures in Chapter 5 “System Maintenance”
of the field service manual.)
2. After updating, execute [reboot system now.]
