4. Print the problem image.
5. Is the printed image acceptable?
YES: Finish.
NO: Go to step 3. (Repeat until the setting value becomes “-5”.)
After taking the above measures, do the color calibration adjustment of the DFE.
Vertical Black Streaks
Cause
The line speed of the feed belt is faster than the line speed of the fuser unit. This results in bending of
paper at the fusing entrance and then cause the toner scattering in an unfixed image on a paper
surface due to the frictional charging between the PTB unit and a sheet of paper.
This is likely to occur if:
Printing in the low temperature and low humidity condition
Printing a halftone image
