1. Select the clear image area in Adobe Illustrator.
2. Select [Effect] > [Blur] > [Gaussian Blur].
3. Specify the blur radius (pixel).
As a side-effect, clear images may appear blurry.

In "Custom Paper Settings"
Decrease the value of No. 1201"Max Image Density".
In the "Adjustment Settings for Operators" menu
Decrease the value of No. 0202-001 to 005 "Maximum Image Density".
The color tone may be changed as a side effect.
Chart 2-a (Adjusting the paper transfer pressure (by Paper Transfer Nip Mode))
In Custom Paper Settings, decrease the paper transfer output to eliminate worm holes.
Risks
Mottling worsens (tends to worsen when textured paper or low smoothness paper is used).
When printing with another type of paper also loaded in the tray, mottling and shock jitter worsens
on other paper.
Chart 2-b (Adjusting the paper transfer pressure (by replacing the PTR springs))
Replace the PTR springs to adjust the paper transfer pressure, thereby eliminating worm holes.
