2.7.9 Routine menu – Clear Data
With this program the system is prepared for a restart. All data such as sorting lists and order
files are archived (stored into another directory). Depending on the number of 'Archive
Days' (configured in 'Customer Configuration'), outdated order data older than that, such as
patient data and sorting positions, is deleted. The system starts counting for all targets as of
rack 1, position 1 after the data has been cleared.
The system must be cleared of data (reorganized) once every day. If this is not done,
problems can arise with administrating the sorting and archive positions. After the 'clear
data' reorganization, a new work cycle must be started in order to resume routine operations.

CAUTION
Before initiating a reorganization procedure, ensure that all status and position
information as well as sorting lists are no longer required. Data older than the time
span included within the configured number of 'Archive Days' will be deleted! The
archive rack positions are also reset.
If you perform a Daily Backup each day, then this should be done prior to clearing
the data.
Press the [OK] button to clear the data.
Then follow the instructions on the monitor.
NOTICE
In order to execute this program, the system has to be in Standby mode.
