6.8. Device reliability
The following average operating times are assumed to determine the degree of utilization of
the cobas p 512 system:
• Five days a week
• 6 hours routine operation / day
• 6 hours standby / day
• 7200 samples a day
If the actual average operating times exceed those stated above, the planned maintenance and
service intervals must be adapted accordingly.
Longer average operating times will also shortened the guarantee and warranty period.
6.9. Accessories
The following optional accessories are available for the cobas p 512 system:
• Oil-free compressor with membrane drying (230 V or 115 V)
• Compressor in reduced-noise housing (for systems with a recapper) (230 V or 115 V)
• Refrigerant-type compressor (230 V or 115 V)
• Compressed-air hose with couplings (NW 7.2 / G ¼"), 5 m
• QNX, Phindows
• Cleaning kit for camera
• Refill helper for foil storage
• Variety of carriers, racks and rack trays
• Barcode Scanner / CCD Wireless Handheld Scanner (230 V or 115 V) for reading pre-
defined rack numbers
• USB stick
