3.3.1 Emptying the waste container
Empty the cobas p 512 waste container daily, either before or after the daily routine. For
hygienic reasons, you should use plastic bags within the waste container.
WARNING
Risk of infection!
Wear protective gloves!
The waste container for caps is located on the rear of the system.
3.3.2 Emptying the condensation container
You should regularly empty the condensation container of the compressed air system. It is
located in the lower closet of the output sorter.

3.3.3 Inserting sealing foils for the recapper (optional)
The foil storage can be refilled during operation.

NOTICE
To expedite foil replacement, we recommend using several foil storages (Roche PVT ID:
32041500011) and alternating them.
1. Take out the foil storage from above. Then place it in the refill help unit for the foil
storage (Figure 3-1 and Figure 3-5/ 2).
