4.2. Cleaning agents and equipment
The surfaces of the module are made to ensure that the system can be cleaned with common
disinfection agents (for example Meliseptol, Barrycidal 36 from Biohit, or Helipur H plus N
from Braun Melsungen).
CAUTION
To avoid damage to the device, the pH value of cleaning agents and
disinfectants must be between five and eight.
A cotton bud or cloth moistened with water should be used to clean the optical components
(tube recognition/sensors).
The following equipment and cleaning agents are required for cleaning:
• Detergent, e.g. 2% Extran solution (alkaline)
• Disinfectants (for example Meliseptol)
• Cleaning agents
• Silicon oil
• Cloths (clean, absorbent, lint-free)
• Rubber gloves
• Cleaning brush
• Cleaning set for the camera lens
• Cleaning set for the sensors
• Allen key wrench (size 3 mm + 6 mm)
