5.1.12 ... a tube is set down into an already-occupied position on the rack?
The system has false assignment information in regards to the racks in the output sorter.
Possible causes for this are:
• After a reorganization and clear there are still racks with tubes in the sorting area.
• One or more drawers in the output sorter were ejected, but not all racks were completely
emptied or replaced with empty racks before the drawers were pushed back in.
• Tubes were placed by hand in the racks in the sorting area.
Recommended procedure for an occupied sorting position
WARNING
Risk of infection!
When handling sample tubes you must wear total protective clothing.
1. Check if the drop container in the sorting area is empty.
There is only space for one tube in the drop container. There is a possibility
of damage if a second tube is deposited there!
Remove the tube from the drop container.
2. Press the [Set aside] button. The gripper moves the tube to the drop container.
Document the process.
3. Continue with operations.
If this error should repeat, you should end the current work cycle and perform a system
reorganization.
4. Press the [Standby] button and remove the tube from the drop container.
