2.2.13 Output sorter
The tubes from the conveyor belt are sorted into racks at the output sorter. These racks are
also referred to as target racks.

It is possible to unload the output sorter by replacing the complete rack trays or racks or by
removing individual tubes.
The sorting area forms the work area of the sorting unit. The sample tubes are placed on it.
The sorting area is 1140 mm x 635 mm (width x depth) in size. It is provided with a hole grid
(matrix) in which the various tube carriers (racks, sample stands, carriers for rack trays) can
be fixed. The physical positions for the individual sorting targets can be configured in the
system software.
