2. Pull out the locking pin upwards.
3. With one hand, take hold of the foil roll (Roche PVT No. 32100500050) (Figure 3-5/ 3).
NOTICE
Sealing foils can be used for twelve months after their production date. Make sure to read the
production date on the packaging. Do not use foil that has an older production date.

NOTICE
The shiny side of the foils must be facing down! The dull side of the foils must be facing up.
The packaging of the foil has an arrow printed on it. This indicates the insertion direction of
the sealing foil.

4. Open the paper tape on the foil role with your other hand (Figure 3-5/ 4).
5. Remove the paper tape with your free hand (Figure 3-5/ 5 and 6).
6. Now the foil roll should be in your hand (Figure 3-5/ 7), in order to insert it into the foil
storage (Figure 3-5/ 8).
7. Push the foil roll into the foil storage. Be careful that the foil roll is not pushed past the
three stoppers (Figure 3-5/ 10).
NOTICE
A maximum of three foil rolls may be inserted in the foils storage. Otherwise the dead weight
of the foils could cause errors.
8. Insert the locking pin.
9. Check again for the correct position of the lower foil in the storage, prior to inserting the
foil storage in the recapper module.
10. Place the foil storage in the dispensing (input) position of the recapper module.
